- (EBV)

Junas Marion Misa scattered 20 points, seven assists, four rebounds and three steals, and Jeanne Paolo Perez added 15 points and five steals as the Accenture Sharks silenced the Wipro Tigers, 82-77, to stretch their winning streak to seven in the Elite Classic of the Tanduay Athletics E-Leagues for Basketball Season 14 last Sunday at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Aside from tightening their grip of the solo lead with a 13-1 slate, the Sharks also brightened their chances of taking the No.1 spot going into the playoffs.

In the EVO League, the Contact Solutions Flying Lemurs also extended their hot run to seven games in a row at the expense of Shearwater Health Crusaders, 77-70, while the Results Manila Spartans edged the Author Solutions Philippines Inc. (ASPI) Hardbacks, 59-55, for their third consecutive win.

Not to be outdone, the Cognizant Tech Solutions Gladiators vanquished the Optum Knights, 71-67.

The Gladiators, on the other hand, moved to 4-8 behind the scintillating 26-point, 17-rebound performance of Ralph Alba.
