It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas sale sign boards are being put up everywhere. Employees have received their bonuses. Friends and families have booked their tickets to somewhere around the world. Retail stores are running out of stocks. The wish lists on your online shop never stops and the deals are coming in and if you snooze, you lose. Calendars are filled with appointmen­ts and dinner dates, another obligation to wrap a gift for someone. Neverthele­ss, it’s always a joy to give to someone from the heart.

The Millennial­s, Generation Z, and the Baby Boomers have unique ways and traditions in making their Christmas merry. Of course, the spiritual traditions remain, where we wake up early in the morning for hot chocolate before going to Mass, and the birth of the Child Jesus is the greatest gift mankind has received. But what are the forms of gifts we yearn for this time? Has the “Dear Santa” salutation­s changed to “Dear Mommy, Daddy, Auntie, Uncle, Love, or Babe”? Yet those who are dear to our hearts will never fail to surprise us.

Likewise, gift giving and receiving is the most fulfilling core of the holiday season. Often than not, we debate on what we want to get and what we want to give. In today’s time, the gift preference has become a new demographi­c in the business. Do we go to making gifts or buying gifts? In fact, we caught ourselves with
