List up is on for MIGC Island Tee

The series of member-guest signature tournaments of Cebu golf clubs continues in June with the 19th Island Tee of the Mactan Island Golf Club in Lapu-Lapu City set from the 6th to the 9th of the month.

The Island Tee is the fourth and last club signature tournament for the year here in Cebu. The first was the Coral Invitational of Cebu Country Club in February, the Corn Tee of Club Filipino in April and Alta Vista’s The View Invitational in May.

The signature tournament is a member-guest event that is grandest tournament of the club.

The list up for the 19th Island Tee is ongoing and entry fee is pegged at Php 4,500 per player.

Each participant will be getting a gift certificate worth Php 4,000 aside from getting a chance to win the various prizes at stake in the tournament as well as the raffle prizes during the awards night and other freebies that will be given by the sponsors.

The event will open on June 6 with a ceremonial tee off. The participants are required to play two rounds during the four-day period.

The Modified Stableford Scoring System will be used and the June handicap will be applied.

Aside from the team awards for the various handicap groupings, there will also be individual awards.

At stake for a hole-in-one will be a brandnew car, a golf cart, cash from the club’s par-3 special, and a motorcycle.
