Sugbusog X Sugbo Mercado
A good place to kickstart the Sinulog festivities is at Marco Polo Plaza as the hotel celebrates Cebu’s grandest festival with its most iconic Culinary Journey – Sugbusog!
This year, the hotel is teaming up with Cebu’s favorite food market, Sugbo Mercado, to bring more of everyone’s favorite Cebuano delicacies such as lechon, tinuom, lechon manok, Cebu mango desserts and many more.
It’s a Cebuano gastronomic adventure at Café Marco with the different featured vendors of Sugbo Mercado. Starting January 16, one featured vendor from Sugbo Mercado prepares their specialty dishes or desserts at Café Marco.
A fiesta in Cebu is never complete without its Cebu Lechon, and so Kuzina Guadalupe prepares its bestselling lechon belly and tuna panga for this Culinary Journey. For its part, Seabu prepares mouth-watering baked scallops in different flavors and its famous crispy crablets. Flavorful grilled native chicken is served by UMA, and its signature dish, tinuom. Ally Mango whips up its specialty mango shake drink, and Swirl Dessert Corner offers a variety of soft-served icecream topped with boba or mango tidbits. Skweez, the healthy and environment friendly fruit juice bar, serves fresh fruit juices and smoothies.
