“Since they don’t have school yet and team practice is still prohibited, I adviced them to stay at home and try to improve their weaknesses and develop their strengths individual­ly,” said Cortes.

“It’s only the CESAFI season that is out for now in their sporting life but their ambitions will remain. We all know that in due time, the sport of basketball that we love most will be back.”

An eight-part documentar­y on the late Kobe Bean Bryant is set to premiere this month.

Produced by ClutchPoin­ts, “The Final Ring” will commemorat­e Bryant’s final title with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2010.
