The first dose of CentCom personnel's vaccination was given last March 6. After a month, Centcom started rolling out the second dose of vaccination.

CentCom information officer, Major Eduardo Precioso, said that they just recently finished their second dose of vaccination with at least 25 remaining personnel left to be vaccinated.

"Kay mao man ni katong mga recently nga na COVID kay naa man gud silay mga certain period nga kinahanglan hulaton para sila ma inject utro, so far we are almost hundred percent na nga ma-vaccinated," Precioso told reporters.

He added that they have prioritized personnel who were deployed in the frontline.

Meanwhile, Precioso said that they are now almost COVID-19 free pending the release of their last affected personnel who is undergoing recovery.

"As of today, we are glad to announce that the Central Command is isa ra atong sundalo na (na-infected) pero pagawasay na sya..usa ra atong case karon, gihulat nalang nato atong 14 days protocol nga pag magnegative na sya kailangan nga mag-isolate syag 14 days para ma clear jud atong mga sundalo," said Precioso.

Precioso said that with all the mitigating efforts they have implemented, they are nearing the line of declaring the camp free from COVID-19.

For the past months, more or less 29 soldiers under the CentCom had tested positive of COVID-19.

"So gi-istriktohan nato ang atoang mitigating measure maong minaug atong cases gyud," said Precioso.
