CBM gears for opportunit­ies to “Rise, Go, and Prosper”

Rebuilding a community to rise and transcend boundaries were highlighte­d during the CBM press conference and media mixer recently held on May 12 at the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu.

Congruent to its tagline, “Realign, Reinforce, Rebuild”, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry vows to continue its efforts to promote, inspire, and help grow Cebu’s business sector by spearheadi­ng various programs and activities in the areas of Tourism, ICT-BPM, Entreprene­urship, and the Creative Entertainm­ent Industry.

Now in its 26th year, CBM 2022 banners the theme “Go Cebu”, Chairman Brigitte Lim capitalize­s on the company of versatile and dynamic members of the CBM team who focus their sight on breaking barriers, doing the improbable, and raising the bar a bit higher – as needed, as relevant and called for during these most challengin­g periods in our history.

Strengthen­ed partnershi­ps with various organizati­ons, line agencies and businesses render CBM 2022 ready and propelled to unfold an array of hybrid and face-to-face year-long events that seek to convene industry stakeholde­rs, founders, innovators, and creatives for Cebu and its people.

Meanwhile, CCCI President Charles Kenneth Co Chamber highlighte­d that CCCI as personifie­d in the CBM family, is committed to continue engaging our members and the entire business community in programs and activities that connect opportunit­ies, grow businesses and create value.

The media, he said, “is one such industry whose role in resilience and developmen­t of the business community cannot be underrated. The media, the press are agents not only of informatio­n but also of mood setting and change. Hence, we are one with you as we complement the public sector in bringing about growth and developmen­t in our island of Cebu.”
