Barangay Labangon receives P2M for multi-purpose bldg

Cebu City South District Representative Eduardo “Edu” Rama has extended support for the realization of the multi-purpose building in Barabgay Labangon.

The Freeman learned that the office Rama had set aside P2 million as its contribution to the realization of the construction of this multi-purpose building.

This project is expected to benefit the residents of sitio Bliss with the multipurpose building to serve as a support facility for the social services in the barangay.

Rama is happy to be able to give support to the said project since the construction of the said facility in Labangon has been long overdue.

“Sa atong dul-an usa ka tuig nga paglingkod isip kongresista sa segundo distrito, malipayon kita nga maka-extend og suporta ngadto sa nagkadaiyang mga barangay sa dakbayan gikan sa atong mga paningkamot ngadto sa nasudnong kagamhanan,” said the neophyte congressman.

Rama, along with Cebu City Councilor and Liga ng mga Barangay Cebu City chapter president, Franklyn Ong and Labangon Barangay Captain Vic Buendia, led the ground-breaking ceremony of the event.

“Bunga sa atong mga pagpaningkamot alang dinhi sa habagatang distrito sa Dakbayan sa Sugbo, ato sab nahatagan suporta ang Barangay Labangon pinaagi niining multi-purpose building nga maoy himuong pasilidad agi’g suporta sa social services alang sa mga lumulupyo sa barangay,” Rama added.

After Tisa, Rama hopes to be able to support more projects in the other barangays under his district.

“We hope to help more barangays in the second district especially niining sama nga proyekto sa infra nga dako og matampo sa kalambuan sa matag barangay,” ended Rama. —
