Successful applicants are issued a five-year card that serves as the entry authority to other fully participating economies such as Australia, Brunei, Chile, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, and Vietnam which have granted pre-clearance for short-term business travel of up to 60 or 90 days.
To be eligible for the ABTC, (1) one must be a Filipino passport holder; (2) one must be a bona fide business person representing an economically active business entity in the Philippines; (3) one must be a member of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and (4) one must have not been convicted of a criminal offense, and (5) one must meet the ABTC eligibility criteria as determined by ABTC Philippines.
