The office of the Cebu City College Scholarship Program has encouraged interested applicants to submit their applications now as they shorten the application period this year.

CCCSP executive director Judy Navarete disclosed that they started accepting new applicants on Jan. 5.

Navarete reminded those that have already completed their requirements to submit their documents at the CCCSP office so it could start with the application process.

CCCSP holds office at the 2-storey annex building within the compound of the Department of Education (DepEd) Cebu City Division in Imus.

Students from the city’s public schools, on the other hand, may submit their applications through their class advisers or school guidance counselors.

“Kung naa na mo’y mga applications, nganong di man ninyo e-submit? If kadtong mga students nga naa nay application unya ready na to take the exam, mas maayo. Ayaw paabota nga ma unya-unya na, kay basin ma shorten ang atong school year,” Yap added.

CCCSP plans to continue it until the end of February this year.

Navarrete, through the city's Sugboanon channel, explained that they shortened the application period so that they can proceed with the career-pathing right away.

“Amo lang ning gi-shortened nga mag February ta kay para maka take na tag exams sa career-pathing examinations karong umaabot Mayo para mas madali,” Yap said.
