“The dismantling of drug dens in San Francisco was made possible through the vigilance and commitment of the LGU, and we recognize their efforts in ensuring that any illegal drug activities in their communities are immediately acted upon,” PDEA-7 Regional Director Emerson L. Margate said in his press statement.

“Even after a barangay, municipality, or city is declared as drug-cleared, monitoring and validation of reported illegal drug activities must still be undertaken as it is a crucial part of the drug-clearing process to ensure that the LGU is able to maintain its status,” Margate added.

San Francisco was declared by the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing (ROCBDC) as a drug-cleared municipality in May 2022. -
