Kathryn takes Cinema One’s center stage this Women’s Month

A concert that felt like an intimate bar gig. A trip down memory lane through music. And a fun-meet of a Kapamilya actress with her fans. This is how I would describe the three concerts in Cebu City that I had the privilege of attending in February.

Catch the Kapamilya actress as the aspiring photograph­er named Jackie in “Crazy Beautiful You” (March 3), loving daughter Tin in “Three Words to Forever” (Mar. 10), bride-to-be Gab in “Can’t Help Falling In Love” (Mar. 17), hard working Joy in “Hello, Love, Goodbye” (Mar. 24), and as the perseverin­g breadwinne­r George in “The Hows of Us” (Mar. 31), airing on Blockbuste­r Sundays at 7 pm.

Also in celebratio­n of Women’s Month, Cinema One pays tribute to various powerhouse actresses that have made their mark in the film industry. Catch Claudine Barretto’s “Milan” (Mar. 4), Judy Ann Santos’ “Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo” (Mar. 11), Bea Alonzo’s “A Second Chance” (Mar. 18), and Angel Locsin’s “Love Me Again” (Mar. 25) airing on Monday Drama, 9 pm.

The Unkabogabl­e Star Vice Ganda also delivers nonstop joy and laughter with her well-loved films this March. Don’t miss Vice in “This Guy’s in Love with U Mare” with Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano (Mar. 18), “The Unkabogabl­e Praybeyt Benjamin” with Derek Ramsay (Mar. 19), “Fantastica” with Dingdong Dantes and Richard Gutierrez (Mar. 20), “Sisterakas” with Kris Aquino and Ai-Ai delas Alas (Mar. 21), and “Beauty and the Bestie” with Coco Martin (Mar. 22) airing from Monday to Friday, 7 pm.

Feel the solemnity and heartfelt stories of Cinema One’s Holy Week Special airing from March 28 to 31. Catch Sharon Cuneta’s “Madrasta,” Gloria Romero’s “Tanging Yaman,” Ronaldo Valdez’s “Seven Sundays,” Vilma Santos and Claudine Barretto’s “Anak,” and other inspiring films.
