Minante Pizzeria: Where Authentic Neapolitan Delights Are In Top Form

-

Since it opened its doors in February this year, Minante Pizzeria has gone from strong to stronger in offering authentic Neapolitan delights and novel dining experiences to Cebuanos and visitors to Cebu. Helmed by Associazone Verace Pizza Napoletana-certified pizzaiolo Matteo Minante and Chef Jan Rodriguez of IlaPuti and The Weekend fame, this pizzeria cuts no slack in plating up authentic Neapolitan pizzas, along with a curated selection of starters, pastas, deserts, beverages and cocktails.

Serving as the heart of the resto is its selection of fifteen pizzas, top-billed by the classic margherita and the resto’s signature “Minante Pizza”.

The pizzeria’s choices also includes the ever-popular Quattro Formaggi, diavola and montanara – each of which are prepared and served with what can be characterized as the Minante Pizzeria x-factor.

Complementing its roster of pizzas are its take on carbonara and lasagna, along with its signature starters: “Three Cheese Pepperonata Dip” (parmesan, mozzarella and cream cheese, tomatoes, onions, roasted bell peppers and pizza bread), “Bruschetta Moderna” (bacon, cream cheese, truffle honey and walnuts on pizza bread) and “Burrata” (bacon, Parma ham, tomatoes, arugula and pizza bread).

The resto also plates up a charcuterie set, and dessert selections in affogato, tiramisu and gelato.

Chefs Minante and Rodriguez bring in a fresh and elevated experience to diners – hand-rolling their pizzas and cooking them in a fire oven that can cook pizzas in less than three minutes.

Also unique to the resto are four cocktail offerings which have been curated to complement its pizza selections.

The resto’s “Primavera” (strawberries, elderflower, lemon juice, rhubarb and oleosaccharum) pairs well with arugula and meaty pizzas.

“Saltburn Summer” (hibiscus, grapefruit, blood orange lemon, olesaccharum, saline and mint) goes well with classic/basic pizzas like margherita, “Ciao, Bella!” (lavender, lemon, sage, rosemary, butterly pea, black pepper and honey) pairs well with smoked cheese and sausage pizzas, and “Lussuria” (pink grapefruit, dragonfruit, rose, vanilla, lemon and oleosaccharum) pairs well with cheesy pizzas.

Set on causing ripples in Cebu’s ever-evolving culinary landscape, Minante Pizzeria is easily where authentic Neapolitan delights are in top form in Cebu.

Minante Pizzeria is located at 88th Avenue Mall, Banilad, Cebu City. For inquiries/reservations, you may send them a message at their official Facebook Page.
