‘Inday Sara tinawag na ‘coward, disgrace’ si Senator Antonio Trillanes’
DAVAO CITY – Tinawag na duwag ni Davao City at Presidential daughter Sara Duterte-carpio si Senator Antonio Trillanes matapos nitong ihayag sa media na plano umano ng Pangulo na isalang ang anak sa 2022 Presidential polls upang protektahan ang sarili sa mga nagbabantang asunto kung ito ay wala na sa puwesto. Matatandaang sinabi ni Trillanes – na kilalang kritiko ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte – na ngayon pa lamang ay hinuhubog na nito si Sara at patatakbuhin sa Senado sa susunod na taon bilang paghahanda sa naturang plano.
Agad naman itong sinagot ni Sara at ito ang kanyang sinabi: “The last time a person irked me, I made sure to make it difficult for him to bring me down and (former House) Speaker (Prospero) Boy Nograles lost that election and was a billion pesos poorer. Like (House) Speaker (Pantaleon) Alvarez, my advice to you is not to think of me, speak of my name, not even a whisper of Inday Sara from your ugly lips.” “Leave me in peace in Davao City or else you and your friends will spend more than a billion in the 2022 Presidential elections just to make me insignificant. Let me repeat, do not bother me and my slot will be available for a yellow Senator for the 2019 elections. President Duterte imagines you will be shot, on the other hand, I will make sure you are alive and in pain.
I have been described as heartless by my mother, please do not anger me so that you may remain relevant for the future generation. And you should listen to my mother.”
Sinabi pa ni Trillanes sa isang news conference na hindi na nito papatulan si Sara sa kanyang pahayag, at idinagdag na mahilig lamang umano ang mga ibang Pilipino sa “drama” bilang patutsada sa Davao mayor.
Ngunit hindi rin ito pinalampas ni Sara. “May time ka mag-press con pero wala ka na time kapag sinagot ka na. Hindi ako naniniwala dati sa sinasabi nila pero paniwala na ako, you are a coward. I do not know why you became a soldier and a Senator. Such a disgrace,” ani Sara.
Dating opisyal ng militar si Trillanes at kasama ito sa mga nagcoup noon 2003 sa Makati City (Oakwood mutiny) at sa Manila Peninsula Hotel noon 2007, ngunit sumuko rin ito at ang kanyang mga kasamahan at kaluanan ay tumakbong senador. Sumabak rin ito sa vice presidential elections noon 2016 ngunit natalo.
