Arenaplus and Bingoplus, ready for the 48th PBA Commissioner's Cup

MANILA - Arenaplus, the Official Sports Entertainment Gateway of the Philippine Basketball Ass ociation (PBA), along with its Official Bingo Entertainment Partner, Bingoplus, joined the highly anticipated opening of 48th PBA Commissioner's Cup, serving series of activities to bring excitement for basketball fans, while keeping the sport fun and entertaining.

Leading to the season opening, Arenaplus co-presented the PBA Fun Run 2023 recently at Bridgetown Destination Estate in Pasig City. Thousands of fans participated in this interactive event to enjoy and show support for their favorite PBA teams. The brand set-up a booth with games, prizes, and free merchandise to add more entertainment in the event.

Performances of the brand’s official dance group, the “Astig Girls” add up to the fun and entertainment in the event. PBA court idols such as Simon Enciso of San Miguel Beermen, Jio Jalalon and Abu Tratter of Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots, Rain or Shine Elasto Painters rookie Keith Datu, and Blackwater Bossing coach Jeffrey Cariaso, visited the brand’s booth and ran with their fans on the track.

Following this event, Bingoplus and Arenaplus also joined in the 2-day PBA Media Day held on October 24-25 at One Esplanade in Pasay City. In a Filipino culture-themed event, all twelve PBA teams gathered in preparation for the season.

The Philippine men’s basketball team, GILAS Pilipinas, also attended the event to show support for the competing teams.

Furthermore, the brand ensured its presence in the season opening program last November 05 at the Araneta Coliseum. The 12 PBA teams joined the opening parade, bringing smiles and excitement for the forthcoming season.

Fun and entertainment filled the venue with the performances of young artist Chie Filomeno, boy group Alamat, and the brand’s very own “Astiggirls” and “Binggirls”. The crowd was also in laughter with the performances of special guest comedians, Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola.

The event was made even more special as Arenaplus presented this year's “The Leos Annual Awards”. Exceptional players in the previous season were recognized,including the Philippine national basketball team GILAS Pilipinas, for the pride and excellence they brought for the league and the country.

The season officially commenced with the match between TNT and Magnolia. Arenaplus' official ambassador, Scottie Thompson, who plays for

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, expressed his excitement and gratitude towards the brand for supporting the PBA and his basketball career.
