MCC has new home in Walter Mart Sucat

Walter Mart Sucat, one of the prestigious shopping centers in the country, is the newest home of the Metropolitan Chess Club’s yearround tournaments and Milo Checkmate weekend and summer chess clinics in Parañaque.

The first weekend chess classes are slated Feb. 2-March 9 from 2:30 -4:30 p.m. in front of the mall’s supermarket.

The chess classes will be conducted in six consecutive Saturdays and will culminate with a multi-event like simultaneous exhibition matches between a group of enrollees versus masters, team competition between schools represented by their respective students enrolled in the clinic and an age-group individual tourney. The multievent is normally held on a Sunday following immediately the last Saturday clinic.
