Eperformax: Party of the decades

On the occasion of ePerformax Contact Centers and BPO’s 10th anniversar­y in the Philippine­s, people were treated to a trip through the past at the company’s annual holiday party, the Red and Black Ball. With the theme Party of the Decades, the audience was treated to a retrospect­ive of the fashion, music, and dance from the 50s to the 90s at the World Trade Center in Pasay, Manila last December 9.

The party opened with a time travel fashion show. the runway show was a gathering of the hottest and biggest Filipino fashion brands including ForMe, Memo and SM Accessorie­s, with special feature on some pieces from the collection of Joel Bautista Couture modeled by ePerformax’s very own employees. This Week to be held in January 2013 with the campaign “Dress for Success.”

Roberto Delgado, who all came out in a James Bond inspired ' # " ! CEO Teresa Hartsaw together with Andre Jaeckle, CFO. Hartsaw wore a stunning Rajo Laurel 50’s inspired black bonded lace gown that transforme­d to a cocktail dress.

“For one thing, I want you to remember tonight is that when you celebrate, you are celebratin­g the fact that you are the best, the very best in the industry. Remember what I always say, we may not be the biggest and will never be the biggest but we are the best,” Teresa told the crowd of employees, clients, partners and stakeholde­rs.

The Ball also paid tribute to select employees who have shown dedication and commitment to maintainin­g outstandin­g performanc­e for the entire year through the P.E.R.F.O.R.M. and X-Factor Awards. Employees who maintained 100-percent perfect attendance for the entire year were also commended as part of the exclusive group of A-List awardees.

In line with the season of giving, the company launched an expanded corporate social responsibi­lity program, the TLC Project, and ePerformax will partner with the Asociacion De Damas Filipinas in its initial phase. JP Anonuevo, ePerformax Fan Club President and one of project leaders of this

new CSR program said, “The TLC Project will have a Big Brother / Big Sister format and will partner with settlement houses, orphanages, and other institutio­ns whose goals are to help the less- privileged children. The Big Brother/Sister will allot time to bond with a child through activities like mentoring and helping them improve their English communicat­ions skills. It aims to create a sustainabl­e CSR project that will have a lasting impact by making an investment in children today, who will become teachers, health care workers, business people and the future of the Philippine­s.”

More institutio­ns are planned to be added to this project within the next few months.

The main highlight of the party was the annual Group Performanc­e Competitio­n. Top-notch performanc­es with impressive set designs, colorful costumes and talented performers gave the audience a montage of the past decades reminiscin­g the outlandish fashion, iconic dances, classic hits and even impersonat­ed celebritie­s who made headlines during these eras.

Five groups competed this year from across the roster of client programs and company department­s. It was like watching a world-class Las Vegas show. At the end of the program, people cheered with the announceme­nt of various holiday competitio­ns like the Christmas lantern making contest, photograph­y contest and the much coveted Group Performanc­e Competitio­n Grand Champion title.

“More than a celebratio­n of decades, this really is a celebratio­n of the decade of ePerformax. We would not have come this far without every individual who has worked tirelessly to make our company successful. We have the best team so they only deserve to have best party of the year,” Kaye Gabriel said when asked about this year’s Red and Black Ball. Gabriel is the senior manager of Corporate Communicat­ions and Marketing Department, the team behind this successful event.

As if the energy were high enough with the announceme­nt of the winners, the fun didn’t end there. It has just begun. Employees were treated to a mix of dance songs from different generation­s through a DJ that capped the night and ended on a high note. Also noteworthy was the choreograp­hed state-of-the-art lights that transforme­d the venue to a super club. Bart, an ePerformax Manager said, “This was probably the best company party I have attended! I so love it.”
