Manzano (photo) officially joins TV5’s Good Morning Club (GMC) beginning tomorrow, Jan. 21. The father of three will give his insights on being a dedicated family man alongside Christine Bersola-Babao, Chiqui Roa-Puno and Amy Perez in the new segment Kumare con Pare.

Edu and the Tres Kumares will tackle issues married couples commonly face at home and in other aspects of their relationship. The discussion will allow viewers to assess various situations by hearing different perspectives. Edu’s straightforward views and the Tres Kumares’ practical advice will give GMC regulars the information and insight needed so that each day is lived to the fullest.

This Monday, Edu and the Kumares will discuss a common concern regarding household finances: whether or not husbands should entrust salaries to their wives. On Wednesday, Kumare con Pare will tackle the emerging trend of “house husbands,” or men who switch traditional roles with their wives and do household chores instead. Come Friday, the segment will cover an issue that usually irks women: Married men who frequently go out with their friends.

Known to be a wide reader and very opinionated, Edu will also headline his solo segment Edukado which will help enrich viewers’ opinions on pressing social issues. With over 10 years of experience in presenting morning shows, Edu underscores the importance of programs like GMC: “Morning shows are very important because that’s how you start your day. GMC would like to be able to put together all the information you need to know; because there’s nothing more powerful than information.”

Stay tuned to GMC as Edu joins the kumares, Paolo Bediones, Cheryl Cosim, Grace Lee, Joseph Ubalde, Makata and Shalala starting tomorrow, Jan. 21.

Good Morning Club airs every weekday from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. on TV5.
