2015 GMA Network Excellence Award nationwide search begins

GMA Network is now accepting nominees for the 2015 GMA Network Excellence Award.

The GMA Network Excellence Award is the Kapuso Network’s CSR program that honors graduating Mass Communication and Electronics and Communication Engineering students who have accomplished an exemplary track record in leadership, academic performance, and social responsibility while finishing their college education.

The GMA Network Excellence Award is open to any bona fi de Filipino graduating student in Mass Communication, Multimedia Arts, Advertising or any equivalent course focused in communication, as well as ECE, for the academic year 2014-2015.

The aspirant must be graduating with Latin honors, and must be active in co- and extra- curricular activities.

Aspirants must submit the Entry Book, which consists of the following: accomplished application form, related work, transcript of records, certificate of graduation, certifi cate of good moral character, and recommendation letter. Deadline for the submission of the Entry Book is on May 31, 2015. Candidates with an incomplete Entry Book will be disqualified; likewise, late submissions will also be disqualified.

Seven finalists will be chosen but only one will be honored with the GMA Network Excellence Award.

The winner shall receive P50,000 and a plaque, while the six finalists shall each receive P5,000 and a plaque.

Since 2001, GMA Network has conferred the Award to a total of 50 graduates from the Network’s partner schools – University of the Philippines – Diliman, Cebu, and Mindanao campuses, Don Bosco Technical School, and Angeles University Foundation.
