What keeps Piolo going

-

Evidence of strong character is visible in the life of Piolo Pascual. Being in showbiz for 17 years, he encountered countless controversies that could have affected his career, but he just brushes them aside. This attitude helps him maintain his stature of being a sought-after actor-singer.

“It wasn’t easy to keep your cool all the time but being in this business all these years taught me to choose my battles. I wouldn’t let issues get into me nor my family,” says Piolo, adding that “I surround myself with people that I love and do things that I love to keep myself happy.”

Piolo won Movie Actor of the Year at the 31st PMPC Star Awards and Box Office King for Starting Over Again at the Guillermo Memorial Mendoza Awards. He was also awarded Best Performance by an Actor for the teleserye Hawak Kamay at the Gawad Tanglaw awards night.

Piolo is also proud ambassador of BDO Remit, Sunlife, Silka Papaya Soap, Under Armor and Essilor, Century Properties and ABS-CBN Mobile.

“My heart is full. I am blessed. I just want to thank the supporters who still believe in me,” says Piolo.

Piolo is back on the big screen with his latest romantic movie

The Breakup Playlist with Sarah Geronimo. In the film, he gets to do the two things that he loves — acting and singing.

He portrays rock musician who collaborates and falls in love with aspiring artist Trixie (Sarah). It’s a different kind of romantic drama directed by Dan Villegas.

“I would never get tired of doing love story movies. It never ceases to amaze me how love can make everything alright. Yes, there will be struggles but at the end of the day, if the two of you are really meant to be together, no one can stop that,” Piolo ends.

The Breakup Playlist is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
