ABS-CBN Publishing’s Duterte Manifesto to benefit Du30’s favorite charity

With the nation always drawn to President Rodrigo Duterte’s intriguing yet entertaining speeches, ABS-CBN Publishing Inc. (API) releases The Duterte Manifesto, a compilation of quotes, jokes and stories from and about President Duterte. Part of the proceeds of the book will be donated to the Davao Children’s Cancer Fund, Inc. – House of Hope, one of the President’s favorite charities from the time that he was still a mayor.

“Do not control my mouth! This is my mouth! God-given gift ‘to!” “Sinabi mo, gawin mo. Pag di mo napanindigan ‘yan, ay…Patay kang bata ka.” “I believe in love, yes. Forever, nah.” These are just some of the witty lines from Pres. Duterte that are included in the book. The book aims not just to entertain but to impart learning and insights to the public as well.

Just recently, API president Ernie Lopez flew to Davao to visit the House of Hope to meet people behind the charity. House Of Hope is a SEC-registered nonstock, nonprofit charity organization for children with cancer since May 2014. Its mission is to bring hope, promote better survival rates and achieve excellent, holistic care for children with cancer through advocacy, quality improvement and better resources.
