A Filipino film winning the Oscar for Best Foreign Film. 5. More work for more people, and fewer bums on the streets. 6. More scientists and fewer lawyers. 7. More engineers and fewer lawyers. 8. A clean Metro Manila. 9. Buses along EDSA that stay in their lanes. 10. A clean Pasig River where we can go boating. 11. A quiet dentist’s drill. 12. A cure for cancer. 13. Getting Pinoys to read more. 14. No more fear of kidnappers. 15. A book that I wrote. 16. A book tha t I wrote that people would read. 17. A waistl in e less than 30 inches. 18. Husband’s waistline less than 30 inches. 19. Son’s waistline less than 30 inches. 20. Daughter’s waistline doesn’t reach 30 inches. 21. My scoliosis doesn’t get worse. 22. I still look 60 when I turn 80. 23. Grandchild­ren, if any, who don’t inherit my nose. 24. The third generation takes over the business and runs it well. 25. I go back and take piano lessons. 26. I finish War and Peace (not the comics version). 27. I finish Dream of the Red Chamber (even the comics version). 28. More presidents as brave as President Rody Duterte. 29. More vice presidents as pleasant as VP Leni Robredo. 30. (… Drumroll, please!) The UP Men’s Basketball Team as UAAP champions.
