Village councilman shot dead

TIAONG, Quezon – A village councilor here was shot dead in Sitio Usiw, Barangay Quipot on Wednesday.

Delfin Mayo, 56, was driving his motorcycle when two unidentified men on a black motorcycle with no plate number blocked his way and shot him several times at around noon.

Six bullet shells for a .45-caliber pistol were recovered at the scene.
