Safeguard your health and wealth with AXA Philippines

-

Following the launch of its first premium health solution Global Health Access (GHA), AXA Philippines introduces its new brand ambassadors who believe that having access to world-class health protection is key to enjoying the best in life — wherever they may be.

Leading the pack is culture, sustainability, and women’s economic empowerment advocate Jeannie Javelosa of ECHOStore Sustainable Lifestyle. Javelosa is busy with her new project, the Gender Responsive Economic Action for the Transformation of Women (GREAT Women).

In a nutshell, the GREAT Women initiative intends to strengthen skills and collaboration among women entrepreneurs — fortifying value chains and ensuring that women from far-reaching communities get their share of the wealth that is being created with good economics. Jeannie’s work has gone beyond the Philippines — from the weaving communities of the Cordilleras, to coffee farms in Laos, to various exhibit grounds in New York. This excitingly hectic lifestyle is what keeps Jeannie traveling year-round.

Mookie Katigbak-Lacuesta is one of the country’s finest poets. She has published four books, including two successful poetry collections ( The Proxy Eros, 2008; Burning Houses, 2013). She also participated in the International Writing Program’s (IWP) Fall Residency, a prestigious and rich confab of the world’s established and emerging creative writers, at the University of Iowa.

Raymond Rufino is busy transforming the Metro Manila landscape literally, with all the work he is doing for real estate giant Net Group. His wife, Anna Palabyab-Rufino, is a successful dermatologist.

Their professional engagements may seldom overlap, but together, they are busy raising three young boys.

AXA Philippines ambassadors’ lifestyles seamlessly marry business and leisure, which require frequent travels.

Global Health Access is a worldwide comprehensive health coverage plan that is designed to address the needs of individuals. The annual coverage is up to P100 million with access to top-rated hos- pitals, medical practitioners, emergency responders and round-the-clock medical advice across the globe. “We are glad to have Mookie, Jeannie, Raymond and Anna onboard because they represent our ideals. In today’s busy and stressful world, we often work hard to leave a grand legacy to our loved ones, so that they get to enjoy the best in life. But getting and expecting the best in life shouldn’t be limited to just business or leisure — it should also include the best healthcare available,” said Rahul Hora, president and CEO of AXA Philippines. “With AXA’s Global Health Access, you deserve no less.”
