Train to Busan? Then you have to visit the Centennial Garden in Sta. Rosa City in Laguna.

On Nov. 1, the Centennial Garden will again open its gates to its clients and guests for its annual celebration of Family Day, coinciding with the commemoration of All Saints’ Day.

Len Jontongco, head of marketing and promotions, said highlight of this year’s Scary House inside the famous Acropolis building at the Centennial Garden is the characters from Train to Busan.

The popularity of the movie led to viral reenactment of friends and classmates in the social media.

“If those who watched really enjoyed the movie, then this is the chance for them to personally experience what it’s like to deal with the scary zombie characters,” Jontongco said.

Aside from Train to Busan, the Scary House will also feature other scary characters in local and foreign movies like Feng Shui, Conjuring and Shutter.

The Scary House is the most popular go-to area inside the Centennial Garden. Located inside the beautiful building Acropolis, it features various horror characters every year.

Jontongco said the Nov. 1 Family Day is not only open to relatives of their clients but also to the public. Every year, it has been a frequent destination of residents of Sta. Rosa City and nearby areas and other guests from various parts of Luzon, especially in Metro Manila.

Jontongco, however, said the Nov. 1 Family Day event in Sta. Rosa is not only about ghosts, monsters and other scary creatures.

This year, the guests are Wacky Macky and Negi, Princess Velasco and the famous band Moonstar 88.

Jontongco invited clients and guests to tag along their children since the event will also feature a Magic Show, Animal Show and Fireworks display.

“Of course, the traditional Trick or Treat will never be absent. Kids will surely enjoy it,” Jontongco said.

She said this year, there will be a surprise show that will surely make the Nov. 1 Family Day event an unforgettable one.
