Kapamilya stars reach out to Pinoys in the Land Down Under

-

Through the years, Kapamilya stars have been making waves not only in the Philippines but also in the international realm via The Filipino Channel’s (TFC) programs, movies and events. Recently, as part of TFC’s continuous efforts to provide the platform for these homegrown celebrities to shine as well to link global Kapamilyas back home, the network together with Star Magic provided another avenue to make that connection via the recently-concluded Tatak Star Magic in

Australia at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Stadium.

As a way for TFC to continuously bridge the distance and as Star Magic’s way of thanking Filipinos for their support for the last 25 years, they brought some of the biggest names in the Philippine industry to reach out and personally thank their fans in the Land Down Under.

Five of the biggest names in the Star Magic stable — Piolo Pascual, Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, Pokwang and Yeng Constantino — flew to Sydney for Tatak Star Magic in Australia.

“We at TFC want Kapamilyas all over to world not only to see their favorite stars in their TV screens or mobile gadgets. We also want them to have that opportunity to see them live or even interact with them in a way that lets them experience the Kapamilya spirit and love,” said Ailene Averion, ABS- CBN Asia Pacific managing director.

Bringing in the one of the loudest cheers during the event were the performances of Liza and Enrique, who are more popularly known as the loveteam LizQuen.

Aside from the much-awaited entertainment, about 600 people from the audience were lucky enough to have a photo opportunity with the

Kapamilya stars while some were able to take home prizes from the event partners.

Catch the shows of your favorite Star Magic artists via TFC, TFC.tv and TFC IPTV. For show and star updates, visit facebook.com/TFCAustralia.
