Gingerbread house decorating class at The Peninsula Manila
The Peninsula Manila ushers in the holiday season with Santa’s Workshop, a gingerbread decorating and plush toymaking class. The hotel’s pastry team and La Pomme Living offer two classes tomorrow, Dec. 4. Session 1 is from 9 to 11 a.m. and session 2 is from 2 to 4 p.m. Children and their accompanying adults will decorate gingerbread houses with the help of The Peninsula Manila pastry team. Apol Lejano Massebieu of La Pomme Living will guide them in a unique arts and crafts activity where participants can decorate blank plush soft toys with colored pens, glue, sparkly stuff and fabric shapes. Refreshments for children and adults will be served. The cost for the Santa’s Workshop is P2,000 (exclusive of taxes) for one child under 12 and one adult.
Guests can also enjoy Sunday Brunch in Escolta after the morning session or Afternoon Tea at The Lobby.
Parts of the proceeds raised from Santa’s Workshop will benefit Virlanie Foundation that reaches out to streetchildren in Metro Manila. Guests are encouraged to bring a toy that will be donated to the foundation.
