Samsung receives WWFP recognition for environmental volunteering

Samsung Electronics Philippines Corp. (SEPCO) received recognition as Outstanding Corporate Partner of World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines.

The recognition was based on SEPCO’s contributions in helping rehabilitate coastlines and watersheds, and in promoting awareness about climate change among schoolchildren.

For two years now, SEPCO volunteers have been giving their time and efforts in restoring mangrove areas in Batangas and watershed areas in Bulacan.

Volunteers have also reached out to select schools in Metro Manila to teach schoolchildren about climate change and encourage them to take simple but helpful actions to care for the environment.
