Jueteng bet collector hurt in gun attack

TUGUEGARAO CITY – An alleged jueteng bet collector was critically wounded in a gun attack in Ilocos Sur on Monday.

Nelson Aguilar, a resident of Barangay Refaro in San Juan town, was driving his motorcycle in Barangay Sagayaden in Cabugao town when two men on another motorcycle fired at him.

Aguilar remained confined at the Metro Vigan Cooperative Hospital. Police said the victim is not on their drug watchlist.
