Marks & Spencer’s partnership with UNICEF brings smiles to kids
Marks & Spencer recently concluded its Win Back and Give Back Promo for the benefit of UNICEF. The raffle draw was held last Dec. 16 attended by: Lucille Tolentino, M&S Philippines merchandising division manager, Kristine Carbon, UNICEF corporate fundraising assistant, and Che Pelo, DTI representative. The winner, Vivian Garcia, took home the grand prize of P20,000.
Marks and Spencer Philippines gave P100,000 to UNICEF, which was used to provide three daycare centers with Preschool-in-A-Box kits containing school supplies and visual aids for learning. The preschool kits were given during the Turnover and Painting Activity to Strawberry Daycare Center, Sto. Niño Daycare Center, and Tulip Daycare Center.
UNICEF celebrity advocate Anne Curtis surprised the children at Strawberry Daycare Center last Dec. 20, bonding with the kids through a mural-painting activity.
Marks & Spencer is a long-standing partner of UNICEF and it has become the brand’s yearly tradition to tug at every shopper’s heartstrings and share the true spirit of the holiday season to everyone.
