conpoy soup with abalone, which symbolizes fertility and good fortune; braised dried oysters for good fortune; steamed stuffed eel with fish maw and shrimp mousse with crab coral sauce; and two dishes featuring the humble yet tasty glutinous rice — fried glutinous rice and pan-fried glutinous rice cake, which symbolizes the family staying together for a long time.
