E-data governance for directors, mngm’t
The Center for Global Best Practices is launching an SEC-accredited seminar titled, “E-Data Governance for Board Directors and Management,” scheduled on March 3, 2017 at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City.
This corporate e-data governance seminar (which includes IT governance) addresses the pressing need for board directors, management and corporate stakeholders to understand the laws and regulatory issues in the creation, preservation, retention and destruction of e- data so they can be safeguarded. This will cover e-data cases concerning data privacy and security breaches, stolen information, cybercrimes and other corporate wrongdoings, intellectual property conflicts, and social media scandals.
This will feature cyberlaw practitioner and “IT Law Evangelist” Noel Ramiscal who has served as technical consultant for various government agencies, including the ITECC and former Commission on Information Communication and Technology on cybercrime and data privacy. He finished his Doctor of Philosophy of Law and Master of Law degree with high distinction (summa cum laude) at the University of Queensland, Australia, where he taught law and internet classes at T. C. Beirne Law School.
This will also feature Bienvenido Constantino, founder and CEO of Helix Software Technologies, an Australian IT firm specializing in cloud technologies. His extensive experience include having worked as IT project director of World Bank projects. He was president of Total Information Management System-Smartmatic for three years.
