A Watam-azing izakaya dining concept is here to indulge your love of Japanese food! Watami Grill and Sushi Bar recently opened its doors at the ground floor of Greenbelt 2. True to the concept of izakayas ( small dining places in Japan where locals unwind after work), Watami will be your own Japanese- style gastropub ideal for bonding with friends and family.

Just like its first izakaya branch in Uptown Mall BGC, Watami Grill and Sushi Bar in Greenbelt will be a fun hub that’s smaller and with a more casual casual vibe than the bigger Watami restaurants at Mall of Asia and in Shangri- La Plaza Mall. Prices are very affordable, too as you can enjoy skewers from P40 to PI45 per stick.

Musts on your visit are the Bacon Asparagus, Pork and Enoki, Roasted Beef and Spring Onion Roll and Bacon Quail Egg. Or you may opt to try a little of everything with an order, the assorted skewers platter for less than P300.

When sushi is your fancy, two pieces of nigiri

sushi are just the perfect portion to tease the palate. Sample one of each on the menu to satisfy your umami craving and pay only P80 to PI85 for each plate. There · are also California Maki, Spicy Salmon Tempura, Special Assorted Irodori Sushi and Assorted Salmon Sushi and Sashimi.

Those with a hankering for rice will love Watami’ s rice bowls with authentic Japanese flavors like the Beef Rice Bowl with Hot Spring Egg in Tokyo Style, Chasu Rice, Beef Pepper Rice and Chicken and Egg Rice Bowl.

Pair these dishes with alcoholic beverages like beer, wine, shots, cocktails and Japanese liquor as well as non- alcoholic drinks and creative and refreshing drinks.
