The first customer to make a purchase of any amount with a punched TH time card gets to enjoy one cup (any size) of Tim Hortons Classic Roast Coffee and one donut (any variant) every day for the next 365 days beginning March 1, 2017 until Feb. 28, 2018.

TH Philippines is the iconic Canadian brand’s first foray in the Southeast Asian market. Founded by Canadian hockey legend Tim Horton in 1964, Tim Hortons is Canada’s largest coffee and freshly baked goods chain with over 2,000 stores across the country and 160 locations in the US.

“With a strong economy, the Filipinos’ brand awareness and a fast- growing quick- service market, the Philippines is a great place to expand the Tim Hortons brand,” said Elias Diaz Sese, president of Tim Hortons, at the soft opening of Tim Hortons in BGC.

“Tim Hortons’ entry into the Philippines is a coffee toast to the good economy that our country has been enjoying these past couple of years. Our opening couldn’t have come at a better time,” noted Enrique Yap Jr., president and chief executive officer of TH Coffee Services Philippines Corp.

TH Coffee Services Philippines Corp. is a joint venture company established under Restaurant Brands International Inc., one of the world’s largest guest-service restaurant companies with more than $ 24 billion in system sales and over 20,000 restaurants.

According to the visibly excited Yap, the BGC store is the first of many stores Tim Hortons is set to open in the Philippines. “With about 800,000 of our fellow Filipinos who now call Canada their home, it is now time for their relatives here to finally share the much-touted Tim Hortons experience, sit down, relax and have a Double Double ( Canadian term for coffee served with double cream and double sugar) perfectly paired with a delightful classic donut,” he added.

Finally, Manila’s coffee lovers can enjoy Tim Hortons’ popular assorted menu offerings which include, aside from donuts, hot breakfast sandwiches on a home-style biscuit, wraps and soups and Tim Hortons’ signature Iced Capp, lattes, espressos and smoothies.
