US Alumni Golf Open slated at Wack Wack

Harvard University, Wharton University of Pennsylvania and Kellogg Northwestern University alumni, along with other US university alumni, will be facing off March 30 for a friendly golf tournament, dubbed the US Alumni Golf Open, at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club.

The event gives alumni of the three American universities an opportunity to meet executives and colleagues from the different schools, for a day of fun and friendly competition which stakes a Subaru Forester, Kia Soul and Texas Eagle Cart as hole-in-one prizes. For multiple holein-one winners, the prize will be divided based on the monetary value, organizers said.

Registration for the US Alumni Open begins at 10:30 a.m. Shotgun start is at 12 noon. Green fees are P4,500, inclusive of lunch, dinner and raffle prizes.

Grand prizes include a two-night stay at Amanpulo, BMW gift certificates, Samsung Flat Screen TV sets, Delta and Cebu Pacific flight vouchers plus other fabulous goody bags.

The tournament is sponsored by Amanpulo, Subaru, Kia, Texas Eagle, Delta, BMW, Rudy Project, The Farm, Cota Pacifica, Conrad Hotels and Resorts, Samsung, Pull & Shark Yachting, Holiday Inn, McDonald’s, Shakey’s and Cebu Pacific.

The US Alumni Summer Cocktail will be held at the WWGCC function room, starting at 7 p.m. Entry fee is P1,000, inclusive of dinner and drinks.
