YWCA holds 36th mid-biennium meeting

The Young Women’s Christian Association of the Philippines (YWCA) is holding its 36th mid-biennium meeting on April 28-30, at the Crown Legacy Hotel, Kisad Road cor. Montinola Street, Baguio City, with the theme “We Make Change Benefit All Y’ers.”

The YWCA national president, Comm. Leonida Bayani-Ortiz, said the meeting will gather leaders of YWCA from different parts of the country. Host local association is YWCA of Baguio City under the leadership of Councilor Lilia Farinas, local president.

Former World YWCA board member and NYCC president Maria Morenao Galvelo-Erk was the keynote speaker during the opening ceremonies.

Preceeding the MBM is the Youth Conference on Safety and Security on April 27-28, at the Maryknll Ecological Sanctuary, Sto. Tomas, Camp Sioco, Baguio City with lawyer Cherry Dane Agustin as inspirational speaker.
