Ancellotti-Diaz was recently conferred with the prestigious award of “Cavaliere” in the Order of the Star of Italy by Italian Ambassador
Massimo Roscigno, in a ceremony held at the ambassador’s opulent residence in Makati City.
The art connoisseur’s family, friends and colleagues from the art industry were present to witness the awarding ceremony. The Philippine Italian Association board members, led by president Nedy Tantoco, as well as dignitaries from the Italian Embassy, also graced the once-in-a-lifetime event to honor a woman who has devoted her life to the promotion of art in the Philippines.
Holding the distinction of running one of the oldest galleries in the Philippines, the Italianborn beauty has spent most of her life championing the works of the country’s contemporary artists.
