Ultra Worldwide, the world’s top international music festival brand, is scheduled to return to Manila in September when it brings back Road to Ultra Philippines on Sept. 15 at the Mall of Asia (MOA) concert grounds in Parañaque City.

To be presented by Blackwater and Ovation Productions, the one-night Electronic Dance Music (EDM) event will be headlined by an all-star line-up led by Hardwell and German hitmaker Zedd.

Supporting them are Getter and Rezz, two of the fastest-rising stars in electronic dance music who will be making their debut performance here, together with Sam Feldt. Road to Ultra Philippines 2017 is one of eight major events that Ultra Worldwide is set to host in Asia for September and which will also include Ultra India Mumbai (Sept. 7), Road to Ultra New

Delhi (Sept. 8), Ultra China (Sept. 9 to 10), Road to Ultra Taiwan (Sept. 10), Ultra Beach Ball (Sept. 14 to 15), Ultra Hong Kong (Sept. 16) and

Ultra Japan (Sept. 16 to 18). Now on its third staging, Road

to Ultra Philippines has previously hosted some of the world’s biggest names in electronic dance music, including Alesso, A-Trak, Skrillex and Tiesto.

The upcoming concert marks the festival’s return to the MOA concert grounds after it moved indoors for last year’s show.

Meanwhile, the Ultra music festival, the world’s premier EDM event promoted by Ultra Worldwide, celebrated its 19th anniversary last March with a sold-out waterfront concert in the heart of Miami, Florida that attracted over 165,000 music enthusiasts.

The annual event was recently voted the world’s No. 1 music festival by DJ Magazine for the second consecutive year. It is slated to return to Bayfront Park in Miami for its 20th annual edition on March 23 to 25, 2018.

The Ultra and Ultra Worldwide brands are reputed to be the world’s remaining most successful independent electronic music festival brands.

For almost two decades, thousands of the most iconic DJs, producers and live acts from all over the world have enthralled millions of audiences through awe-inspiring sets of Ultra music festivals held in Miami, Argentina, Bali, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Ibiza, Japan, Korea, Singapore and South Africa. Huge crowds also packed Road
