Pastry chef Antonio Bachour holds master class in Manila

The Gastronomi­e Group, Events & Culinary Co. brings chef Antonio Bachour, a multiaward­ed pastry chef whose modern French patisserie expertise has garnered a large following across the globe, to Manila for a comprehens­ive Master Class Series from Sept. 4 to 10 at the Greenfield District Showroom.

In a seven-day Master Class Series, the chef from Miami will give hands-on classes and a demo class. He will also sign his books

“Bachour in Manila 2017” will start with a three-day Hands-On Master Class on Buffet Style Petits Gâteaux, Tarts, Verrines, and more on Sept. 4 to 6, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Another three-day Hands-On Master Class on Plated Desserts will follow from Sept. 7 to 9 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. An eight-hour Demo Class on Entremets, Tarts, Chocolates, and more will be hold on Sept. 10 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All events will be held at the Greenfield District Showroom, Shaw Blvd. cor. Mayflower Street, Greenfield District, Mandaluyon­g City (across Edsa Shangri-La Hotel).

Each three-day Hands-on Master Class is P85,000 and each student will receive the recipes of chef Bachour and will use quality ingredient­s such as Elle & Vire and Valrhona, and premier pastry equipment from KitchenAid, Oster, Pavoni Italia, KreaSwiss, ChocoVisio­n, HotmixPro, Hagen’s, and Kopykake. Lunch and refreshmen­ts are included, a certificat­e of attendance, take-home goodies from the class, and a loot bag, as well as a signed copy of Bachour Chocolate (worth P2,555). The eighthour Demo Class is P15,000 (regular seat) and P18,000 (premium seat). A group discount is available for four or more registrant­s. A special student discount is also available for the Demo Class.
