‘People of Passion’

-

Through the decades, this motoring icon, honed from a fine tradition of automotive engineering and devoted craftsmanship, has set fire to the human spirit. It is therefore only logical that Maserati would give rise to a group of passionate men who would partner for the common good.

Through their fiery spirit, these “People of Passion” give hope to those who share their sentiments, and serve as inspiration to those who wish to live their lives with the same fervor. Their passion for genuine change empowers the next generations to feed the fire they’ve started and to build their own legacies.

It is with these ideals that the Maserati “People of Passion” came into being as a socially relevant endeavor to provide for future generations by partnering with Hope in a Bottle.

Hope in a Bottle believes a better future starts in the classroom. Classrooms are the breeding ground of future game changers and world movers. It is where their passion is explored, their drive for excellence is strengthened, and their freedom to pursue their aspirations is realized. By partnering with Hope in a Bottle, Maserati is building a legacy by supporting a generation of people of passion.

True to the core values of Maserati, the People of Passion are select and distinct individuals who each have contributed their time, expertise and wisdom to their communities and are fervently passionate about making a positive change. Who better to promote the advocacy of building more classrooms than the people of passion as supported by Maserati.

Marc Nelson, Mark Nicdao, Paolo Soler and James Deakin all have been passionately driven in creating a better future for Filipinos in the field of transportation, photography and water sports. Each of these men of passion believes that the best and strongest foundation will always come from learning and education. This is why they are adamant about building more and better classrooms.

Mark Nicdao on passion:

“Passion is an element or ingredient that makes everything special. When you’re looking at a painting, photograph, sculpture, even research, school work or sports — it’s that something that you can’t explain but you know it’s there. When you see something that actually makes an impact on you, and at the same time — it’s what’s missing when you are feeling mediocre and if you see something mediocre.”

James Deakin on his passion to influence others:

“I’m blessed to be able to indulge in almost all my passions so it is a massive part of my life. I have a show about cars and one that tackles the road safety issues and traffic problems. I couldn’t ask for more.

“Social media is an incredibly powerful tool. But like anything powerful, you need to treat it with utmost respect. I really strive to create content that makes people think, or inspires people to do good. And when I’m lucky enough to see that happen, it makes me feel like the luckiest guy alive.”

Marc Nelson on Maserati x Hope:

“The Maserati x Hope partnership is a wonderful initiative that will help promote and contribute to the good work that Hope in a Bottle does in building more schools around the country. In the same way as I am passionate about kiteboarding, it’s nice to see brands like Maserati and Hope being passionate about the education of Filipino children.”

Paolo Soler on Maserati x Hope:

“The team up between Maserati x Hope in a Bottle provided me an avenue to help their mission in building much needed classrooms around the Philippines through my passion for surfing. This is something I never expected to be able to contribute to and feel so honored and extremely lucky to have been given this chance to do so. I really love being part of the People of Passion project and I am looking forward to how this campaign will be instrumental in providing the educational needs of kids across the nation.”
