Pernod Ricard marks ‘Responsib’all Day’
Pernod Ricard recently held its seventh consecutive edition of Responsib’All Day, wherein all of their employees and 87 affiliates from Paris to the Philippines spent a day away from their daily tasks and engaged in activities that benefited their local communities.
Pernod Ricard Philippines’s employees volunteered in the Habitat For Humanity’s Juan Build Program, which builds homes and uplifts living conditions of the underprivileged, and donated rice sacks to residents at the Bistekville 4 project site.
According to chairman and CEO Alexandre Ricard, “It is all about sharing and living together, there is no sustainable success if it does not benefit everybody,” thus staying true to Pernod Ricard’s corporate signature, “Createurs de Convivialite.”
Pernod Ricard’s brands are all pillars in their communities. The beverage company is actively involved in supporting measures to promote responsible drinking. With the launch of the Wise Drinking app and website wise-drinking.com, consumers are provided with what should be considered before drinking alcohol.
Furthermore, all of its brands’ bottles imported to the Philippines have added a symbol/warning against the dangers and risks of alcohol consumption during pregnancy.
Through initiatives in partnership with retailers, the company also fights against underage drinking and promotes a “don’t drink and drive” mindset and lifestyle among the consumers.
