Filipino blogger Kryz Uy joins TLC’s A Taste of Hong Kong

Taste of Hong Kong, premiering on TLC.
Now on its fourth season, A Taste of Hong Kong is hosted by singer-actress Josie Ho who is joined by well-followed travelers from around the region in each episode. They all get an insider tour of the city courtesy of Josie — getting to know her favorite spots and discovering an eclectic mix of rustic and modern oriental that Hong Kong has to offer.
Among them is Cebubased Filipino travel and lifestyle blogger, Kryz Uy. With close to half a million followers on Instagram and a well-read life, style and travel blog, Kryz is one of the more notable influencers of her generation. She appears alongside Daphne Charice, an upcoming singer and party and lifestyle blogger from Malaysia, in the first episode of A Taste of Hong Kong.
Together with Josie, the trio went on a unique 24-hour tour of Hong Kong, with stops in the city’s most iconic and Instagram-worthy destinations, and visits to its most interesting food haunts.
On her unforgettable experience with the crew, Kryz shares, “Being able to work with Josie Ho was such an incredible opportunity.” She adds, “Getting to explore Hong Kong from a local’s perspective was so refreshing, and definitely makes me want to discover more hidden gems in the city.”
In the show’s new season, TLC gives viewers a glimpse of Hong Kong’s visually stimulating locations such as Old Town Central, a contrasting neighborhood and amazing landmark destination revealing over 100 years of Hong Kong history. Kryz enthuses, “If Old Town Central alone already has so many things to offer, I can’t imagine what else the rest of Hong Kong awaits me.”
