Janelle was asked about her sudden exit from Wowowin under GMA 7 in which she was a cohost for almost two years. She recalled about having a simple misunderstanding but she already reached out to the people involved including main host Willie Revillame.

“Actually, I was suspended before Super Tekla but I kept quiet and just cried. It was just a simple misunderstanding but now I have moved on,” she said. “I remain thankful to Willie.”

Now, Janelle and Willie are already in good terms after she reached out to her Wowowin family. In fact, they have already seen each other after the incident.

Post-Wowowin, Janelle is now focusing more on developing her hosting skills and has been invited to host different corporate shows here and abroad. She is hosting a lifestyle magazine show that tackles Filipino-Chinese issues with Gretchen Ho, Saturday nights at 8 and Sundays at 11 a.m. on Chinoy TV (ABS-CBN News Channel). She also has an upcoming indie titled Durugin ang Droga to be shown in September at SM Cinemas.

Janelle was a semi-finalist in the 2015 Miss World and 2014 Miss Earth winning special awards as Miss Hanna Shampoo, Best in Beach Wear and Best in Catwalk.
