Isuzu Ph celebrates 250,000th unit sales milestone in Cebu

- ISUZU Philippines Corporation (IPC), the country’s leader in the commercial vehicle segment, recently turned over its 250,000th unit retail sale, an Isuzu N-Series NHR — a light-duty multi-purpose truck of Isuzu — to Cebubased fleet distributor provider E

The newly acquired N-series NHR truck will be used by Ever Consumer Sales Inc in distributing quality consumer products in the entire island of Cebu. Designed to cater to every type of entrepreneurial needs, the Isuzu N-Series NHR provides durable, powerful, and efficient performance to keep up with the pace of the daily transportation needs of a business.

Isuzu Philippines Corporation VP for Sales Yasuhiko Oyama said that the Isuzu NHR is part of the N-Series model line-up, which consistently holds the number one position in the Category III truck segment. “Since 1999, IPC already manufactured 36,378 units of the N-Series and we are very proud that the 250,000th unit sold is an Isuzu NHR as it currently our best-selling light truck variant,” he said.

Oyama explained, “The partnership between IPC and Ever Consumer Sales is a proof of confidence that Cebu is considered as one of the important market for Isuzu in Central Visayas.”

Isuzu’s ceremonial turnover of the vehicles was followed by the 20th Anniversary Kick-Off Party for Isuzu Cebu, Inc (ICI)—a company wholly-owned by Ayala Corporation and franchised dealer of Isuzu Commercial Vehicles which has branches in Cebu, Mandaue, Bohol, Iloilo, and Talisay. The company, which celebrates nineteen years anniversary in the auto industry this year, continues to provide Cebuanos with an excellent premium service, both in products and aftersales.

Present during the program official turnover of the NHR unit were Isuzu Philippines Corporation VP for Sales Yasuhiko Oyama, Isuzu Philippines division head of Sales Joseph Bautista, Isuzu Automotive Dealership Inc. president and COO Manny Aligada, and Isuzu Cebu Inc. general manager Steve Gingco, who handed over the ceremonial key of the Isuzu NHR unit to Ever Consumer Sales, Inc. president and CEO Brandon Derick Sy and Global Pacific Distribution Network Corp. president Peter Limquiaco.

“With the growing trust and confidence of our consumers on Isuzu vehicles, we are very positive that we can further surpass our 250,000 unit sales milestone and look forward to celebrating another milestone in the years to come,” Oyama proudly stated.
