It aims to help farmers improve their productivity and provide quality, safe as well as cost-effective farm inputs.

For 18 years now, the company has consistently been a major sponsor of Agrilink International Expo, which is slated on Oct. 5 to 7 at World Trade Center.

In a press briefing held recently, UNAHCO president Ricardo Alba said “We will showcase new products such as Capture 5 EC – a brand of insecticide, Mandate 80 wp – a fungicide, Suria 48 sl – a herbicide and Slayer 70 wp – a molluscicide or a product that kills golden apple snails – a pest of rice.

Likewise, we are expanding our product portfolio by continuously searching for technological advancement here and abroad viable for distribution in the Philippine market.” Its most popular brands such as Vetracin, Jectran, Latigo, Bexan, Bacterid, Apralyte, Pigrolac, MamaPro and Sarimanok are fast-selling animal health and nutrition products to crop farmers, dealers, animal raisers, agrivet store owners and veterinarians.

A subsidiary of Unilab, it manufactures, markets and distributes veterinary products for swine, poultry, gamefowl, ducks, quail, pigeons and dogs. Alba added that currently, they export selected Thunderbird, Pigrolac, Sarimanok feeds and vet products to Asian countries such as Saipan, Guam, Micronesia, Palau, East Timor, Malaysia and Vietnam.

Its brands will soon be marketed in Indonesia and Mexico.
