Primer Group unit gets ISO mark
Inks and Graphics Philippines Inc. of the Primer Group of Companies has obtained its ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management system from Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS), making it the first and only company certified for silk-screen manufacturing with digital printing and cutting services.
The ISO certification covers all UIGPI’s products and services that diversified from manufacturing of inks (textile, graphics, ultraviolet), manufacturing and repacking of screen printing supplies and provision of silk screen pre-press services to a wide range of goods and services such as design, printing, cutting, fabrication, assembly, delivery and installation of digital graphics.
ISO 9001 is a standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system. It helps businesses and organizations to be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction. ISO 9001:2015 is the new version of the standard which replaces ISO 9001:2008. This version encourages stronger leadership presence, alignment of strategic directions, risk management, knowledge management (lessons learned), change management, people engagement and business continuity management.
