Top EU universities open doors to Filipinos

- Helen Flores

Top-caliber universities from Europe will again open their doors to Filipinos who would like to undertake postgraduate studies abroad.

Twenty-four schools from Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom will participate in this year’s European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) to be held at the Grand Atrium of Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City on Oct. 18.

“Education has always been and will remain a top priority for Filipinos. Many have found that the higher education institutions in the European Union offer opportunities beyond comparison,” European Union Ambassador Franz Jessen said.

The theme of this year’s EHEF is “Sustaining Innovation and Excellence.”

The 2017 EHEF aims to showcase both innovation in teaching and learning techniques and curriculum par excellence of the participating higher education institutions.

“Through EHEF, we want to encourage all Filipino students, teachers, members of the academe to grab this opportunity and experience diversified and excellent postgraduate and doctorate degree programs from top-notch EU universities,” Jessen said.

Interested parties may preregister online via www.ehefphilippines.com or walk in on the event day. Check updates through @EHEFPhilippines.
