The Eagles with The Long Run at RWM

-

Resorts World Manila (RWM) brings another unforgettable rock experience to its award-winning Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT) as The Long Run, the premier tribute band for American rock band the Eagles, takes the stage on Oct. 24, 8 p.m.

The group is composed of well-rounded professional musicians who are veterans in the Los Angeles music scene. Over the years, The Long Run has perfected live sets of the seminal band’s greatest tracks.

In 1999, when the Los Angeles rock scene was alive with the birth of new bands transitioning from glam to grunge, musician Gary Grantham formed The Long Run with a few professional players, with the intention of keeping the music of one of the greatest rock bands of all time alive for generations of fans.

Now, after nearly two decades of performances, The Long Run is considered the premier tribute band for the Eagles. Performing with Grantham for their one-night only concert in RWM are Whit Petrell, Albert Zepeda, Kenneth Cetera, Chris Sobkowich, and William Worrel. Fans can expect the best tracks from the Eagles including Hotel California, Best of My Love, Heartache Tonight, Desperado, Love Will Keep Us Alive, and even some of the solo hits from Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh and Don Henley.

Crediting the group’s undeniable accuracy in delivering hits by the Eagles, The Long Run has made its mark as one of the top-drawing tribute acts in North America who also earned a 90-minute concert spot in AXStv’s The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands, as seen by millions all over the world.

Fans have also hailed their performances as the next best thing to a true Eagles concert. With great showmanship blending with the band’s proficient arrangements, fans get more once the true personality of The Long Run takes the stage — full of raw energy and wonderful vocal harmonies. Also performing as special guest is Manila Sound pioneer The Boyfriends that released such ‘70s hits as Sumayaw, Sumunod, Dahil Mahal Kita and Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal. Tickets for The Long Run: Experience the Eagles are now available at the RWM Box Office and all TicketWorld outlets. RWM members may avail of the Dine and Watch promo and save over 20 percent on concert tickets and food vouchers honored at RWM signature restaurants and selected dining outlets at Newport Mall.
