Gabi ng Lagim on Jessica’s show

-

This year, Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho’s (KMJS) Gabi ng Lagim Halloween Special will continue the tradition of bringing three true-to-life horror stories sent by viewers. These disturbing accounts will be interpreted by three of the best directors in the movie and television industry.

In Laguna, an unfamiliar guest wearing a bridal gown was allegedly captured on camera during a wedding ceremony. That same bisita or guest was spotted again in a baptismal ceremony the following year. Who is this woman and why is she appearing in these ceremonies?

Veteran music video and TV director Rember Gelera has been part of Gabi ng Lagim since it launched in 2013. But in his five years of working for the Halloween Special, he notes that this is his first time to feel a paranormal presence while filming on set.

Meanwhile, a viral post claimed that all call center agents know Junjun — the eerie child ghost who allegedly spreads terror among call center offices.

This year, Cinemalaya director and former KMJS producer Derick Cabrido returns to Gabi ng Lagim to give life to Junjun’s story.

In Visayas, folk stories about Maria Labo, the vampire-like woman who allegedly ate her children and attacked locals, continue to haunt residents. KMJS investigates these reported incidents, and interviews witnesses who can allegedly testify to Maria Labo’s heinous acts.

For the first time in Gabi ng Lagim’s history, director Adolf Alix Jr. joins the KMJS team to bring this story to the audiences.
