GMA’s Saturday afternoon line-up keeps viewers hooked

For the month of September, GMA’s Saturday afternoon block consisting of Ika-6 na Utos,
Tadhana, Wish Ko Lang! and Imbestigador dominated National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM) with an average people rating of 6.9 percent.
In Urban Luzon, the Kapuso Network’s Saturday afternoon block beat competition with an average people rating of 7.4 percent.
GMA’s winning streak continues this month. Partial October data (with Oct. 14 based on overnights) show Kapuso programs Ika-6 na Utos, Tadhana, Wish Ko Lang! and Imbestigador winning over competition and posting an average people rating of 6.9 percent in NUTAM.
Loyal viewers of the highestrating daytime drama Ika-6 Na
Utos will have more reason to stay addicted to their favorite afternoon series with the addition of new characters in the story played by Zoren Legaspi and Chynna Ortaleza.
GMA Public Affairs’ weekly drama anthology Tadhana also remains unbeatable on its timeslot. Hosted by Marian Rivera-Dantes,
Tadhana features stories of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) based on true accounts, and portrayed by the country’s top-notch actors.
Meanwhile, pioneering public service program Wish Ko
Lang!, hosted by Vicky Morales, continues to lord over its rival program. The first wish-granting program on Philippine television highlights inspiring stories of Filipinos who are able to overcome extraordinary situations.
Viewers are also glued to television to watch the country’s longest-running investigative program Imbestigador hosted by Mike Enriquez. In the span of 16 years, Imbestigador has taken investigative reporting to the next level by giving voice to the oppressed and righting wrongs for the ordinary people.
